Dr.Ratchada JAYAGUPTA is a senior researcher and a lecturer at the Asian Research Center for Migration at the Institute of Asian Studies, Chulalongkorn University. She is also the Thailand’s Representative to ACWC for Women’s Rights, a member of National Sub-Committee on anti-human trafficking especially for women and children, and a member of National Sub-Committee on anti-human trafficking in the Mekong Sub- Region. In August 2018, she received the distinguished award from the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), Ministry of Justice, Thailand; the Network Model Award 2018 in saluting her collaboration with DSI on the prevention and protection of the organised crime in Thailand and Southeast Asia. Her area of expertise is Voluntary and Forced Migration; Female Labour, Migrant Worker, People Smuggling, Human Trafficking, Modern Slavery, Statelessness, the Promotion of Women’s Participation and Decision Making in Politics, and the Promotion and Protection the Rights of Women and Girls.
